Description
This image was taken March 3, 2018 the day following the Nor'easter called Storm Riley. The Lighthouse is formally named Minots Ledge Light and is about 1/2 mile off the coast of Scituate and Cohasset along Boston's South Shore. The lighthouse is 89 feet high, so you can imagine the force of the wave that exploded upon impact.
I've classified the image as "digital art" as I've made a few "tweaks" to improve its appearance, but be assured it is a single image taken from shore on the day noted. (This image has an "aspect ratio" of 4x5 so the best fit is a 8x10, 11x14, or 16x20 print. If you want a 8x12, 12x18, 16x24 print, please select the 'other' image.) I recommend not getting an image larger than 16x24 as the level of detail may not be great enough. From a viewing distance of at least 3 feet the photo retains its forceful emotional impact.
