Description
This image was taken March 3, 2018 the day following the Nor'easter call Storm Riley. The Lighthouse is formally named Minots Ledge Light and is about 1/2 mile off the coast of Scituate and Cohasset along Boston's South Shore. The lighthouse is 89 feet high, so you can imagine the force of the wave that exploded upon impact.
I've classified the image as "digital art" as I've made a few "tweaks" to improve its appearance, but be assured it is a single image taken from shore on the day noted. (This image has an "aspect ratio" of 3x2 so the best fit is prints of 8x12, 12x18, 16x24. If you want an 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, please select the 'other' image.) I recommend not getting an image larger than 16x24 as the level of detail may not be great enough. However, a "full-resolution" preview is available if you'd like to inspect the details if decide to order a larger print. From a viewing distance of at least 3 feet the photo retains its forceful emotional impact.
